GOOD BYE MR HOLLYWOOD

' Drive carefully, Mr Hollywood. Goodbye', she said, with a big smile. Then she turned and walked quickly away. (p.６)
A man called Nick was sitting the cafeteria. Then a woman approached him. He thought she was beautiful. Her name was Jan .  And he didn't know why she talked familiar. While they enjoy the conversation, a man with white hair crossed the street. Suddenly, she said to him "Drive cafefully, Mr Hollywood. Goodbye,"
Then she left the cafeteria and walk to the big hotel. The man with white hair glanced at Nick after she go. After Nick finished the coffee and headed for the car, A man with white hair kept with him secretly. Then she looked down the action of two mans. I didn't know why she called him Hollywood until I read this novel. In Vancouver, Nick had no choice but to think about Jan. But he made a decision to forget the matter.  Finished the dinner, he walked for a walk. Suddenly, He was pushed by someone and fell on the road. A car was coming close into runing over him when he fell. Back to the Hotel, he started to think about the accident. "It's not accident. Nobody pushed me" he thought. He denied the accedent. Next day, he went to the park, sat under the tree and read books. There was nobody in the park. Suddenly, he heard the sound of gun in the park. He was surprised and ran away. Then he thought that someone shoot me. After that he consulted with policeman. But nothing was solved. He decided to go Vancouver island because Jan  said " wecan meet at the Empress Hotel, Victoria, Vancouver Island," when Nick met her at the first time. Then he witnessed Jan in the Vancouver island. and began to talk about the man with white hair. While Nick and Jan talking in the tea party, the man with white man saw them through windows. Then he enter the room and attacked them with his gun. Fortunately, Nick and Jan survived. Finally, the man with white hair arrested. At the police station, Nick and Jan was gathered. A detective came into the room and talk to her about the man with white hair. His name is Vicker. According to the conversation of detective, Vicker had daughter called Anna. But she committed suicide. But why? she loved a man. However, he took her money and left her. His name was Hollywood! Maybe, he conceived her for a lot of money. Aside, he went with Jan. Vicker made a decision to revenge him.
In conclusion, Jan's intention was that she made Vicker take Nick for Hollywood.
I think that Attacking the innocence man like Nick was pity.

英語教育講義（３）

 In today's group, we talked about second language. There are some people which majors in Germany or French in my group. The trouble is that it's hard to memorize words because masculine noun and female noun are distinguished. the man that majors in Chinese told us that it was hard to pronounce it despite the fact that Japanese was similar to it in terms of using Kanji. German is also similar to English. For example, In English, "Name" is pronounced ”ネーム”, but in German, it is pronounced "ナーメ”.  Thus similarity and difference are shown those languages. I was able to understand the anguish of learning languages.

英語教育講義（１２）

In today's class, I learned various things. Especially what I was impressed with is Mr. Kouyo Ogawa's presentation. I could know that Japanese are passive to the class, but America and United kingdom are less passive than Japan. Certainly, when I was a high school,  most of students are passive attitude, for example, when teacher said to students, "Can you understand?" they kept silent. Maybe, America and United Kingdom's student are active attitude toward to classes. I was glad to hear the difference between Japan and America, United Kingdom.

A little Princess

Mr. Carrisford's face went very white. "Carmichael", he whispered, 'it is the child - the child!'(p.39)  In this story, a little girl and his father go to school of London. Her name is Sara. When they arrive at the school, they meet Ms. Minchin. She welcomes Sara. His father leaves London. Sara is so smart that she helps a student s who is bad at study and makes friends. Three years go by. Sara receives a letter from her father. The content is that he finds a lot of diamond in mines and thinks they will be very rich. One day, when she come to her room, a servant is sleeping in a chair. Her name is Becky. When Sara calls out her, she is surprised and apologizes to Sara for sleeping. Then they get along with each other. But an unfortunate thing happens to Sara. It is that her father died. Ms. Minchin got angry to hear that because he invests a lot of money to Ms. Minchin's school. she decides that she makes Sara live in attic.  Consequently, she is saved by a...
