' It's not the money, it's the writing', (p.14)  In this book, the main character, William is an inspector of the Oxford Police. One day, he gets a phone call from Kate Miller who is inspector too. She tells him the occurence of an incident and to come to a house. When he arrives at the house, a woman died. The name of woman is Janet who is a doctor. William decides to hear what happened to her. He talks to some of the people who are related to Janet. According to this book, it looks like trouble over the money.   I think that troubling over the money is bad thing.  the white elephant is stolen(p.12) In this book, a main character gets a phone call from someone. The content is that the white elephant is stolen. He calls the police inspector to cooperate and hurry to New York. After arriving at New York police, he meet him. Then, the inspector tells the main character to teach how the feature of the elephant. Do you think they can find this animal? I think that stealing something regarded as sacred is not good.
