The little hole became a bigger hole. There was a noise deep under the ground, as if something big had growled.(p.26) In this story, a family lives in a village. The village is not big but small. There is a school, market and old church. But as a whole, It is not lively. The family is consist of three, father, mother and Pablo. The father is in trouble because many corns didn't grow very well. One day, his father went to his field to cultivate corns with ox and Pablo. When they planted it, a small hole became bigger and bigger. It was a crater. The more smoke from the crater coughed, the bigger heap grow. Many people had to run away from the village. Finally, they started living in other place. As a result, the life of Pablo's family was richer than before because they could cultivate many corns.
